About Mike
Yeah, that's me
Mike was born at a young age in Compton, California where he experienced wonderful things like the Selmar Earthquake in 1971. Mike moved to Portland, Oregon when he was 8. It seemed like a good idea since the rest of the family was going and it turns out they were right.
Mike grew up near Portland, went to school and all that. While in high school he got to watch Mt. St. Helen’s blow up (from a safe distance). Mike’s best and favorite subjects in school were math and science, so he went into broadcasting.
When he was 21 he went seeking fame and fortune in the cold cruel world. He crash landed in Roswell, New Mexico where he started his broadcast career. Mike’s first radio job was in 1984.
Fast forward to today (leaving tons of stuff out) Mike has over 20 years experience in radio and television both behind the scenes and in front of the camera/mic. Mike has had fun jobs like: DJ, Photo Journalist, Reporter, Weather Anchor and Anchor. Somewhere along the line Mike taught himself html. Now Mike is all into this new media stuff with blogs and online videos. Even Twitter. Mike is the owner and President of AgapeMedia.net.
Mike has two kids and four grand kids!
I honestly don’t know why he put all of this in third person. I mean, he’s the one typing all of this out. Things that make you go hmmmm.
